Our 2024 Summer
This past summer, we kicked off our season a little differently. Before we even got into markets or brewing tea, we spent time where it matters most—home.
In early June, we were part of a traditional Navajo Enemy Way ceremony, known as Nidaa’.
We were out there for days—setting up our shade house,, cooking and laughing. I got to reconnect with family I hadn’t seen in forever, and I honestly had the best time. There’s something about those ceremonies that just resets you. You feel the land, the songs, the fire. It reminded me why we do this work in the first place.
Nina Tea Company isn’t just about tea. It’s about healing, stories, and holding on to what grounds us. That first week of summer at Nidaa’ gave me so much clarity. It helped me carry a better kind of energy into everything we did this season—from making our blends to setting up at markets.
It was a powerful reminder: before anything else, take care of the people. The rest will follow.
